Adding a Viewed video to your email

Written By Danny Schaffer

In this video, we detail how to add a Viewed video to a marketing email inside of rezora. If you're more of a text-based learner, continue scrolling to view the article.

To begin, we recommend opening up Viewed in a separate tab in your browser and signing in to your account.

To add a Viewed video to a marketing piece or template, click the "Content" tab on the right, scroll down and expand the "Media" content category, then drag and drop a "Viewed Video" content block into your piece where you want it to display.

Note: If you have done any prior edits in the rezora email but have not yet saved them, we recommend you use the Save button at this time.

Click to your "Viewed" tab and find the video you'd like to share. Click the three dots under "Actions" and click the Copy Video ID option. This copies the video ID to your computer's clipboard.

Navigate back to rezora and click the "Autoplay video in email" button. Paste your video ID into the text entry area and click Next.

You can select the size of the video. It will default to 600px wide, but you can adjust it up to a max recommended 750 pixels wide if you are using a differently-sized email template.

Click Save in the interface to add the video. After adding the video, we immediately recommend saving your marketing email via the rezora Save button before you click anything else.

How does it work? - Viewed knows which email clients allow video auto-play in an email and which block it. That results in videos playing for recipients who use a system that allows video, and will display a static image linked to the video in cases where an email system does not allow video.
