How do I connect my Canva account and use my images?
Written By Danny Schaffer
Bring your Canva designs straight into rezora emails without downloading or re-uploading anything. Connecting your Canva account takes just a minute, and once linked, your designs and images are available right inside the email builder.

Before You Start
For the smoothest experience, sign in to Canva in a separate browser tab first. This way, when you go to authorize the connection in rezora, you will already be logged in and can approve it in just one click.
Option 1: Connect via Apps and Integrations

In rezora, hover over your profile picture at the top right
Click Apps and Integrations.
Click the Connect Canva button.
A modal will appear. If you are already signed into Canva, simply authorize the connection. If not, you will be prompted to sign in first.

Option 2: Connect Directly in the Zephyr Builder
You can also connect Canva while building an email or template, without leaving the editor.

Open an email or template in the Zephyr builder.
Click the Content tab in the right panel
Expand the Media content category.
Click and drag a Canva block into your email layout.
Click the Import from Canva button on the block.
If your account is not yet connected, you will be prompted to connect it at this point.
Sign in to Canva then click "Allow" to connect your rezora and Canva accounts.

Importing Your Designs
Once you are connected, you can bring Canva content into any email or template in the Zephyr builder.

Open your email or template.
Click the Content tab in the right panel.
Expand the Media content category.
Click and drag a Canva block into your email layout.
Click Import from Canva in the newly added block
Once the Canva modal is open, you will see your content ready to browse. Click Import under any design or image to pull it directly into rezora.
To find something in a specific folder, navigate to that folder in the modal and then click Import on the content you want.

Finishing Touches in Rezora
After importing, select the image block to open the Content Properties menu on the right side of the editor. From there, you can add alt text to describe the image, which helps with accessibility and deliverability, and you can add an image link if you would like the image to be clickable.
While Canva designs can make your emails look great, it is important to pair visuals with live text. Email clients and spam scanners read actual text content, so including enough real, selectable copy alongside your images helps your emails reach the inbox. A solid mix of visuals and live text keeps emails both attractive and deliverable, and ensures your message comes through clearly even when images are turned off.
