What is the difference between reach, opens, and clicks?
Written By Danny Schaffer
Although these stats are all listed together, they tell you very different information about your marketing piece. Let’s dig right in!
'Reach': The 'Reach' column will refer to every contact that was sent your email. Contacts that can’t receive email currently (bounced, unsubscribed, spam reported) will not count as your ‘Reach”
'Opens': When a contact views the email, this means that the email is opened in their inbox.
'Clicks': If this contact were to click on a link in your email, it would then register as a click.
All of these metrics are exportable from your Lead Nurture and Automation - History tabs by clicking on the number or percentage and then selecting 'export'.
Note: Contacts that have had the “Open and Click tracking” turned off cannot be counted as opens or clicks, as that information has been removed. If the entire account or system has its Open & Click Tracking turned off, the Opens and Clicks areas for sent email will display 0% rates.
